Creating a firm is simple and seamless in Workpapers.
To get started, head to workpapers.cimplico.com where we'll first create your account.
Create the administrator account
If you haven't created an account yet you'll see the following login/signup screen:
The form contains two fields, requesting you to provide your:
Email address
Password
Login with Xero
Included in the login form is also the option to leverage SSO with your Xero account. SSO is a great way to get started with Workpapers quickly, without the hassle of remembering another set of usernames and passwords. By leveraging your Xero account we can also complete Step 2 for you!
Once you have created your account you will be redirected to the Account details section of the onboarding flow, as seen below.
Account details
After creating your account you will see the first section of the onboarding flow:
The account details form will prompt you to enter the following information:
Given Name
Family Name
Once you have filled these fields out you can click Continue to proceed to either create a firm or join a firm.
Create firm
If you see the above screen and want to join a firm, head to Joining a firm for the next steps. To create a new firm, select Create a firm and click Continue.
💡 Note
The account used to establish the firm is linked to the firm as the firm administrator; however, the account administrator can be transferred later. It is recommended firms use a practice email for this setup process.
Firm details
The firm configuration form will first ask you to enter your firm name:
Firm name is the name you wish your firm to be called within Workpapers. Don't worry, this can be changed later.
Click Continue to proceed to the firm creation confirmation to start your trial.
The confirmation will show your firm name and what's included in the trial. When you're happy with everything, you can click Start your free trial.
Congratulations, your firm is now created! 🥳
