Step 1: Access the Cimplico Workpapers Portal
Navigate to workpapers.cimplico.com to begin the account creation process.
If you land on a different page, here’s what it means:
“Create/Join a Firm” Page: You’ve already created an account. To proceed with:
Joining a Firm: Follow the Joining a Firm process.
Creating a Firm: Follow the Creating a Firm process.
Workpaper Home Page: You’re already logged in and part of a firm. You can start working immediately!
Step 2: Locate the Sign-Up Option
On the login page, look for the “Don’t have an account? Sign Up” button.
Click the button to proceed.
Step 3: Choose Your Login Method
You have two options for your login method:
Email and Password:
Enter a Username (your email address).
Create a Password
Click Continue
Xero Single Sign-On:
Select the Sign in with Xero option.
Follow the prompts to log in using your Xero account.
💡 Tip: We recommend using Xero Single Sign-On if your firm already uses Xero. This method is faster and reduces the need to manage multiple login credentials.
Step 4: Provide Personal Details (If Using Email and Password)
If you signed up using the Email and Password method, you’ll now see the “About You” section.
Complete the following fields:
Given Names: Enter your first name(s).
Family Name: Enter your surname.
Click Continue to proceed.
ℹ️ Note: If you used Xero Single Sign-On, you will not need to provide your first name and last name. This information is retrieved automatically from your Xero account.
Step 5: Firm Association
Decide whether to join an existing firm or create a new one:
Joining a Firm: Refer to the Joining a Firm article for instructions.
Creating a Firm: Refer to the Creating a Firm article for instructions.
