The Dashboard in Cimplico Workpapers is your central hub for monitoring the status of a workpaper.

Certification Button

The Certification Button is where users go to certify a workpaper. However, certification can only be completed once all required criteria are met.

ℹ️ Note: For detailed steps on how to certify a workpaper, including understanding the certification requirements, see our Certifying and completing a workpaper article.

Progress Rings

Progress rings visually display the completion status of job elements. To achieve 100% completion, the following criteria must be met:

  • Procedures: All procedures must be completed or marked as not applicable (N/A).

  • Trial Balance: All trial balance items must be either reviewed or excluded.

  • Other Schedules: All schedules must be either reviewed or excluded.

  • Journals: All journals must be either posted or voided.

  • Internal Comments: All internal comments must be resolved.

  • Client Queries: All client queries must be resolved.

💡 Tip: Use the Progress Rings to quickly identify areas that need attention.

Job Summaries

The dashboard also provides several summary boxes that display key details about the workpaper:

  • Worksheets Assigned to You: Lists incomplete worksheets assigned to you.

  • Internal Comments (Active): Displays unresolved comments.

  • Client Queries (Active): Shows active queries requiring resolution.

  • Client Queries (Draft): Highlights queries that are drafted but not yet sent.

  • Journals (Draft): Displays journal entries still in draft.

  • Files (Checked Out): Shows files checked out that need to be checked in.
