This article explains how to set a checklist template as the default in Cimplico Workpapers, streamlining the process for creating new workpapers.

ℹ️ Note: Only Administrators and Managers can set a checklist template as default.

Steps to Set a Checklist Template as Default

  1. Navigate to the header and select Templates, then choose Checklists.

  2. On the Checklists page, select the checklist you want to set as default.

  3. Click Set as Default.

What Does This Do?

When a checklist is set as default:

  • It will automatically be selected whenever a new workpaper is created.

  • Users can still choose a different checklist if needed.

💡 Tip: Setting a default checklist saves time by ensuring the most commonly used checklist is pre-selected, reducing manual steps.
