Creating a new procedure template

To create a new procedure template, follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to the header and select Templates, then choose Procedures from the dropdown.

  2. On the Procedures page, click the New Procedure button.

  3. Enter the name of your procedure in the Procedure Name field.

  4. The template creation method will default to Import

  5. Download the CSV template

  6. Fill in the CSV file according to the requirements listed below.

  7. Upload the file by dragging and dropping it into the upload area or selecting the area to locate the file.

  8. Click Create Template to finalise the procedure template.

ℹ️ Note: Only Administrators and Managers can configure procedure templates.


CSV Requirements

The CSV file must include the following fields:

Field

Description

Procedure Name *

The name of the procedure item.

Description *

A description of the procedure item, providing further instruction or context.

Category

A grouping or category for the procedure item (optional). For instance:

  1. Planning & Engagement tasks

  2. Finalisation tasks

Workpaper Role *

Must be either:

  • Preparer

  • Reviewer

  • Approver

Entity Types

The type of entity the procedure will show up for (optional).

Note: Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

💡Tip: Leave the entity type blank for a procedure if you’d like it to appear, regardless of the entity type.
