Printing a Calculation

Written by Hannah Olsson

Use this article to export a calculation as a PDF, for example to send to a client or attach to a management letter.

Exporting a calculation

  1. Open the calculation.

  2. Click Export in the top right corner.

  3. Cimplico Workpapers downloads a ZIP file containing a PDF of the calculation, plus a CSV for each table in the calculation.

When to export a calculation

  • Sending a client a copy of their tax calculation

  • Sending a Hire Purchase schedule to a client's bookkeeper, so they can make adjustments throughout the year

  • Attaching a calculation to a management letter

💡 Tip: There's no need to export a calculation just to include it as evidence in your workpaper. We recommend adding the calculation itself and link it to the worksheet with a linking entry instead - see Completing a Calculation and Creating a Linked Entry.
