Creating an ITR workpaper
When creating a workpaper, select Individual Tax Returns as the Workpaper Type.
ℹ️ Note: Individual Tax Returns is only available for certain entity types — sole traders, individuals, and estates.
Workpaper structure
ITR workpapers follow the same structure as other workpaper types. The key difference is the leadsheet — instead of a trial balance, you'll see the ITR leadsheet.
ITR leadsheet
The ITR leadsheet displays the key income and deduction labels from the tax return. Select any label to open the full worksheet.
Within each worksheet, you can:
Add evidence
Use supporting calculations
Complete checklist items
Once you're satisfied with the workings, summarise the entries and submit the worksheet.
