Use this article to connect FYI to Cimplico Workpapers. This is a one-off, firm-level setup - the firm Administrator must complete it before anyone at the firm can start using the FYI integration.
Before you begin
Confirm you have a Workpapers cabinet in FYI. Cimplico Workpapers automatically pulls in any files filed against this cabinet.
ℹ️ Note:
Only a firm Administrator can configure integrations. See Changing the firm administrator if you need to update who holds this role first.
Link FYI and Cimplico Workpapers
In FYI, click the Automation tab.
Click Apps.
Find the Cimplico Workpapers tile and click the cog icon.
Click Create new secret. FYI opens a modal showing your secret key.
Copy the secret key. FYI only displays this key once.
In Cimplico Workpapers, click the cog icon in the top-right of the navbar to open Firm Settings.
Click the Integrations tab, then click Configure on the FYI tile.
Paste the secret key into the first field.
In FYI, copy your access key and paste it into the second field in Cimplico Workpapers.
Once Cimplico Workpapers accepts both keys, the default cabinet selector appears.
Configure your default cabinet
Select your default cabinet from the list.
Confirm your selection.
Cimplico Workpapers shows a confirmation screen once setup is complete, and the FYI integration is now enabled for your firm.
